Hi everyone. Sorry for not posting anything last week, it was the easter holidays for me. Today I learnt about generators. Generators are software that people have made that can convert your name into an anagram; you can type in a senctence and it'll find pictures on Flickr that relate to the words; you can look up weird fantasy story plots; edit photos; make your own dancing robot, and many other things. So pretty much I had lots of fun today of the Internet. Most of the generators I found them on this blog site:http://generatorblog.blogspot.com/
So I hope you have fun on the generators like I did to today. Here are a few of the generators that I really liked:
Hey everyone. Today I learnt about RSS feeds. RSS stands for “Really Simple Syndication” and is a file format for delivering regularly updated information over the web. Which means that you can read an news article, blog and etc; that has the orange sign which is below; without any ads or pictures that were on the original article. Today I made an account that let's me view RSS feeds that I have selected in an easy and neat display (http://www.bloglines.com/).
Hey everyone. Sorry about not doing last week's post, I was doing other computer stuff. And it's going to be the same this week, cause I'm working on another blog that's related to my work. If you would like to check it out, follow the link below.

Hey everyone. I'm up to week 2 in Learning the 23 Things. This week, I've been looking at photos on this website called Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/). Flickr is a website on which people from all over the world post their photos that they have taken. You can make your photos be viewed by the public or by your friends who are on Flickr themselves. For my task today, I had to look at photos that I liked and I'm going to start talking about the photo that I liked the most. I will provided a link to the photo, so you all can have a look.
The photo that I found on Flickr that I really like, was a photo of a group of people dressed up as characters from a video game called Kingdom Hearts. They were part of a cosplay group. To find out what cosplay is, go to this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosplay

Today I started exploring the blog site of The 23 Things (http://sjlibrary23.blogspot.com/). The 23 Things blog is about exploring the many things you can do on the Internet. Today I learnt the 7 and a 1/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners (http://www.plcmc.org/public/learning/player.html) and how to start a blog. So this blog will be about me learning the 23 Things, and updating you on how I'm going and what I've done.
